Free Run Artists will release a soundtrack album for the dramatic thriller Ponyboi. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Cristobal Tapia de Veer (The White Lotus, Utopia, Babygirl, Smile, The Girl with All the Gifts, The Third Day, National Treasure). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 27. Visit Amazon and any other major digital music services to stream/download the album and also listen to the composer’s title track below. Ponyboi is directed by Esteban Arango and stars River Gallo (who also wrote the screenplay based on his 2019 short of the same name), Dylan O’Brien, Victoria Pedretti, Murray Bartlett and Indya Moore. The movie takes place in New Jersey over the course of Valentine’s Day and revolves around a young intersex sex worker who must run from the mob after a drug deal goes sideways, forcing him to confront his past. The drama premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by Fox Entertainment Studios’ Tideline and Gathr.
