Dream Studio has released a soundtrack album for the Chinese period crime drama She’s Got No Name. The album features the film’s original music composed by Natalie Holt (Loki, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Princess, Rivals, Knightfall, Journey’s End, Herself, Beecham House, Press). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list (in Chinese). She’s Got No Name is directed by Peter Ho-Sun Chan and stars Ziyi Zhang, Jackson Yee,Ting Mei, Chuanjun Wang, Chunlei Kang, Yemang Zhou, Guoqing Chen and Jiayin Lei. The movie takes place during the Japanese occupation of Shanghai in the 1940s and is based on the true story of an unsolved murder case involving a wife who got charged with the bloody dismemberment of her abusive gambler husband. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, just opened in Chinese theaters this past weekend and will be released in select U.S. theaters on July 4.
