Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1971 British thriller The Night Digger directed by Alastair Reid and starring Patricia Neal, Pamela Brown, Nicholas Clay, Jean Anderson, Christopher Reynald and Peter Sallis. The album features the expanded and newly remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Bernard Herrmann (VertigoPsycho, North by Northwest, Citizen KaneTaxi Driver, Obsession, Marnie) and performed by Sessions of London, including previously unreleased music. The limited edition CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and learn more about the release. Label X has previously released the premiere soundtrack CD featuring Herrmann’s score in 1994. The Night Digger is now available on VOD and DVD.
