Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Dog Man, Knuckles, Daisy Jones & the Six, Early Man, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Book Club: The New Chapter) has signed on to score the upcoming Disney Channel original movie Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires. The film is directed by Paul Hoen (who previously helmed the first three installments) and stars Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Freya Skye, Malachi Barton, Kylee Russell, Chandler Kinney, Julian Lerner, Mekonnen Knife, Swayam Bhatia, Lisa Chappell and Jonno Roberts. The sequel, which features nine new original songs and two reprises of Someday & Ain’t No Doubt About It, follows Zed & Addison whose summer road trip takes an unexpected detour, landing them in the middle of yet another monster rivalry: Daywalkers vs. Vampires. David Light & Joseph Raso (Sneakerella) and Josh Cagan (The DUFF, Kim Possible) wrote the screenplay. Hoen, Manheim, Donnelly, Light, Raso are also executive producing the Disney Branded Television production with Jane Fleming & Mark Ordesky (The Frozen Ground, Tiger Eyes). George S. Clinton has previously scored the original 2018 Zombies movie and co-scored the first two sequels with Amit May Cohen. Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires will premiere on July 10 on the Disney Channel before making its streaming debut the following day on Disney+.
Howe also continues to score Apple TV+’s Shrinking, which has been renewed for a third season and will return to score the fourth season of the streamer’s Ted Lasso.
