Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music has released a soundtrack album for the action comedy Freelance. The album features an hour of original music composed by Geoff Zanelli (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Disturbia, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Christopher Robin) who is credited in the film for providing the themes, with Elliot Leung receiving credit for writing the score. Freelance is directed by Pierre Morel and stars John Cena, Alison Brie, Marton Csokas, Juan Pablo Raba, Alice Eve and Christian Slater. The movie follows an an ex-special forces operative stuck in a dead-end job who accepts a gig from his old military buddy to provide security for a disgraced journalist as she interviews a ruthless, but impeccably dressed dictator. The comedy was released in theaters in late 2023 by Relativity Media and is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
