Zachary Dawes (Big Time Adolescence, The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Peanut Butter Falcon, There’s Someone Inside Your House, A League of Their Own, The Big Door Prize) has teamed up with Tyler Parkford (Kate Can’t Swim) to score the upcoming drama Magic Hour. The film is directed by Katie Aselton (Black Rock, Mack & Rita) and stars Daveed Diggs, Katie Aselton, Brad Garrett and Susan Sullivan. The movie revolves around a couple who escape to the desert to navigate an unexpected and challenging new phase of their relationship. Aselton also co-wrote the screenplay with Mark Duplass (Cyrus, Jeff, Who Lives at Home). Emily A. Neumann is producing the project and Jay & Mark Duplass and Mel Eslyn (Biosphere, Penelope) serve as executive producers. Magic Hour will premiere next month at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival.
