Madison Gate Records has released the theme song from the new Prime Video original series Clean Slate. The track performed by Alex Newell & the show’s composer Pierre Charles (Inventing Anna, East New York, They Cloned Tyrone) and is now available to stream/download as a digital single (which also includes an instrumental version) on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the song after the jump. Clean Slate is created by Laverne Cox, George Wallace & Dan Ewen and stars Cox, Wallace, Telma Hopkins, Jay Wilkison, D.K. Uzoukwu and Norah Murphy. The comedy, which follows a car wash owner in Alabama who has a lot of soul searching to do when the child he once called “son” returns after 17 years as a proud trans woman, is premiering today exclusively on Prime Video.
