Lia Ouyang Rusli (aka OHYUNG) (Problemista, Test Pattern, Fantasmas, Bruiser, Photographer) has recently scored the upcoming drama Sorry, Baby. The film is written and directed by Eva Victor and stars Victor herself, Naomi Ackie, Lucas Hedges, Louis Cancelmi, John Carroll Lynch and Kelly McCormack. The movie follows a graduate student-turned-professor dealing with trauma of a sexual assault. Barry Jenkins (Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk) is producing the project with Adele Romanski & Mark Ceryak (Aftersun, Mufasa: The Lion King). Sorry, Baby is premiering today at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.
Rusli’s other recent scoring projects include Neo Sora’s Happyend, which opened in Japanese theaters last fall following a premiere at the 2024 Venice Film Festival and has been picked up by Metrograph Pictures for a domestic release this year.
