Edition Komplizen has released a soundtrack album for the German TV series A Better Place. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Jasmin Reuter (24 Weeks, The Heartbreak Agency, Kiss Me Kosher) and Isola Music (Martin Glos & Smörre Ziegler). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ opening titles track below. A Better Place is created by Alexander Lindh & Laurent Mercier and stars Maria Hofstätter, Steven Sowah, Katharina Schüttler, Sandra Borgmann, Johannes Kienast, Richard Sammel, Alev Irmak, Ulrich Brandhoff, Youness Abbaz, Aysima Ergün and Cynthia Micas. The drama set in a fictional city, where a a scientist and liberal Mayor and introduce a revolutionary rehabilitation program that aims at closing down the city’s correctional facility and reintegrating its prisoners into society. The Studiocanal production made its streaming debut in Germany last Friday and will make its linear television debut later this month.
