Marlon Espino has composed the original score for the new thriller Cellar Door. The film is directed by Vaughn Stein (Terminal) and stars Jordana Brewster, Scott Speedman, Addison Timlin, Laurence Fishburne, Chris Conner, Katie O’Grady and Randy Sean Schulman. The movie follows a city-dwelling couple looking to relocate to the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, where they are suddenly gifted the house of their dreams with one nonnegotiable condition: they must never open the cellar door. Sam Scott wrote the screenplay. Tom Butterfield (Die in a Gunfight, London Town), John Papsidera (Sick Girl), Craig Perry (American Pie, Final Destination) and Sheila Hanahan (Breaking In, Oddball) are producing the project. Espino has previously scored Stein’s last two features, Inheritance and Every Breath You Take. Cellar Door will be released in select theaters, on Digital and On Demand this Friday, November 1 by Lionsgate.
