A24 Music will release the official soundtrack album for the horror thriller Heretic. The album features the film’s original score composed by Chris Bacon (Wednesday, Source Code, Gnomeo & Juliet, Bates Motel, 65, Men in Black: International, The Tick). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, November 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track ( A Lesson in Theology) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. Heretic is written and directed by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods and stars Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East. The movie revolves around two young missionaries who become ensnared in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse after they knock on the wrong front door. The thriller premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and will be released in theaters nationwide on November 8 by A24.
