22D Music has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2013 French biographical drama The Jewish Cardinal (Le métis de Dieu) co-written and directed by Ilan Duran Cohen and starring Laurent Lucas, Aurélien Recoing and Audrey Dana. The album features the film’s original score composed by Nathaniel Méchaly (Taken, The Grandmaster, Shut In, Colombiana, Taxi Brooklyn, Stratton, Transporter: The Series). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Cardinal Lustiger) after the jump. The Jewish Cardinal first premiered in France in 2013 and was released in select U.S. theaters the following year by Film Movement. The movie, which tells the true story of a Catholic cardinal of Jewish heritage who vehemently protested the construction of a convent on the grounds of Auschwitz, is now available on VOD and DVD.
