Pathé Films has released a new soundtrack album for the 2012 French/Belgian animated feature Zarafa directed by Rémi Bezançon and Jean-Christophe Lie. The album features the original score from the film composed by Laurent Perez Del Mar (The Red Turtle, The Mystery of Henri Pick, I Kill Giants, My Son, The Kitchen Brigade), including previously unreleased tracks. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s Zarafa Orchestral Suite after the jump. Prima Linea has previously released the original (digital) 2012 soundtrack album. Zarafa tells the story of a 10-year old Sudanese boy who meets a baby giraffe and together they take a hot air balloon on an epic adventure from Africa to Europe. The animated movie, which was released in France in 2012, was released in U.S. theaters in 2015 by GKIDS and is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.
