Another wide release this weekend is the faith-based drama The Forge co-written and directed by Alex Kendrick and starring Cameron Arnett, Priscilla Shirer, T.C. Stallings, Aspen Kennedy, Karen Abercrombie, Ken Bevel, BJ Arnett, Jonathan Evans, Jerry Shirer, Benjamin Watson and Tommy Woodard. Zack Leffew (Halloween Be Thy Name, Palau the Movie, A Murder of Innocence). has composed the film’s original score. Provident Films has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening semi-wide in couple of hundred theaters is the animated sequel 200% Wolf directed by Alexs Stadermann and starring Samara Weaving, Jennifer Saunders, Akmal Saleh and Ilai Swindells. The film’s original score is composed by Ash Gibson Greig who previously scored the 2020’s original 100% Wolf movie and Matt Druery has contributed the original songs. Sony Music Entertainment Germany’s EUROPA has released a soundtrack album featuring both score and songs earlier this month. Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the crime comedy thriller Greedy People directed by Potsy Ponciroli and starring Himesh Patel, Lily James, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Simon Rex and Tim Blake Nelson. The film’s original music is composed by Jordan Lehning (Old Henry, Easy Does It, Make-Out with Violence, The Dead Center). No soundtrack album has been announced. The movie, which follows a rookie cop and his rogue partner Terry who upend their small island town when they accidentally discover one million dollars at a crime scene (of their own making), is being released by Lionsgate.
