Klaatu Records has released a soundtrack album for the indie slasher movie The Mouse Trap. The album features the film’s original music composed by Darren Morze (Mass, The Vanishing of Sidney Hall, The Last Victim, The Greatest Night in Pop, Enter Nowhere). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. A limited edition CD version is available to order on the label’s official website. The Mouse Trap is directed by Jamie Bailey and stars Sophie McIntosh, Nick Biskupek, Mackenzie Mills and Simon Phillips (who also wrote the screenplay). The movie follows a young woman who gets stuck at the amusement arcade on a late shift on her 21st birthday, when her friends decide to surprise her, but a masked killer dressed as a mouse (based on the Steamboat Willie version of Mickey Mouse that is now in the public domain) decides to play a game of his own with them. The horror film is being released on VOD today by Gravitas Ventures and will also be coming out on Blu-ray and DVD next Tuesday, August 13.
