Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1953 sci-fi classic Invaders from Mars directed by William Cameron Menzies and starring Helena Carter, Jimmy Hunt and Arthur Franz. The film’s original score written by Raoul Kraushaar (who is the credited composer, while Mort Glickman is believed to be the actual composer) is being released as part of the label’s The Golden Age of Science Fiction – Vol. 5 , which also includes the first-ever release of the music from the 1967 British sci-fi movie The Terrornauts (directed by Montgomery Tully and starring Simon Oates & Zena Marshall) composed by Elisabeth Lutyens. Visit the label’s official website to order the soundtrack, to check out audio samples and for more information about the limited edition CD.
