Rob Simonsen (Ghostbusters: Afterlife, The Whale, The Age of Adaline, Foxcatcher, The Way Back, Nerve, (500) Days of Summer) has teamed up with Duncan Blickenstaff (Hollywood Stargirl, Alex, Inc., Reboot, Outmatched, Maggie) to score the upcoming romantic drama It Ends With Us. The film is directed by Justin Baldoni (Five Feet Apart, Clouds) and stars Blake Lively, Baldoni himself, Jenny Slate, Amy Morton, Hasan Minhaj and Brandon Sklenar. The movie is based on the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover and follows a woman who overcomes a traumatic childhood to embark on a new life in Boston, where she meets and falls in love with a charming neurosurgeon, when her first love suddenly reenters her life . Christy Hall (I Am Not Okay with This, Daddio) wrote the screenplay and is also producing the Wayfarer Studios production with Alex Saks (The Florida Project, No Hard Feelings) and Jamey Heath. Season Kent serves as the project’s music supervisor. It Ends With Us will be released in theaters nationwide on August 9, 2024 by Sony Pictures.
