The full details of the soundtrack album for the romantic sports comedy drama Challengers have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winners Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Watchmen, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Mank). Also included is the original song Compress / Repress written by Reznor, Ross & director Luca Guadagnino, performed by the composers and feat. additional vocals by Mariqueen Maandig Reznor. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 26 by Milan Records and will be available to stream/download here. Listen to the composers’ score title track and the song below. The label has previously released Challengers [MIXED], a DJ set by Boyz Noise earlier this month. Challengers is directed by Guadagnino, written by Justin Kuritzkes and stars Zendaya, Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist. The movie follows a former tennis prodigy turned coach married to a champion on a losing streak whose strategy for her husband’s redemption takes a turn when he must face off against a washed-up player who happens to be her former boyfriend. The dramedy is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend Amazon MGM Studios.
