Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary series The Jinx – Part Two directed by Andrew Jarecki. The show’s original music is composed by Mondo Boys (She Dies Tomorrow, Phoenix Forgotten, Fatman, The Girlfriend Experience, Red Right Hand, Silk Road). The follow-up to 2015’s The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst continue the filmmaker’s investigation for the next eight years, uncovering hidden material, Durst’s prison calls, and interviews with witnesses who had not come forward earlier. The 6-parter will air Sundays on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.
Premiering tomorrow, April 22, is the Disneynature documentary Tiger directed by Mark Linfield, co-directed by Vanessa Berlowitz & Rob Sullivan and narrated by Priyanka Chopra. Nitin Sawhney (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, The Namesake, Breathe, What’s Love Got to Do With It?, Traitors, A Girl from Mogadishu) has composed the film’s original music. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Premiering on Thursday, April 25, is the Netflix original series Dead Boy Detectives developed by Steve Yockey based on characters created by Neil Gaiman & Matt Wagner and starring George Rexstrew, Jayden Revri, Kassius Nelson, Jenn Lyon, Yuyu Kitamura, Lukas Gage, David Iacono, Briana Cuoco and Ruth Connell. The show’s original music is composed by Blake Neely (The Pacific, Masters of the Air, Greyhound, You, The Flash, Everwood, Arrow, Riverdale, Good Night Oppy) and Murat Selçuk. Premiering on Friday, April 26, is the Paramount+ limited event series Knuckles created by John Whittington & Toby Ascher based on characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog movies and video game series and starring Idris Elba, Adam Pally, Stockard Channing, Scott Mescudi, Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Ellie Taylor, Rory McCann, Cary Elwes, Christopher Lloyd, Rob Huebel and Paul Scheer. Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Daisy Jones & The Six, Early Man, Shrinking, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon) has composed the show’s original music. Also premiering on Friday is the Hulu original documentary series Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story directed by Gotham Chopra about one of the most recognizable bands in the world and its front-man Jon Bon Jovi. The show’s original music is composed by Miles Hankins (Nine Perfect Strangers, Long Shot, Apples Never Fall, The Night Before, No Exit, Being Serena, Len & Company).
