VR Music has released a new soundtrack EP for the Indian survival drama The Goat Life (Aadujeevitham). The 5-track EP features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, The Hundred-Foot Journey, Lagaan, Blinded by the Light, Couples Retreat, Viceroy’s House). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Apple Music/iTunes and most other major digital music services. Also listen to all five tracks below. The label has previously released a soundtrack EP featuring Rahman’s songs from the movie last month. The Goat Life is written and directed by Blessy and stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, K R Gokul, Amala Paul, Jimmy Jean-Louis and Shobha Mohan. The movie tells the story of an Indian migrant worker who travels to Saudi Arabia to make a living and finds himself living a slave-like existence, herding goats in the middle of the desert. The drama was released worldwide last month and is currently playing in select U.S. theaters.
