Opening in New York today following an awards-qualifying release last year and before expanding to more U.S. markets over the next couple of weeks is the animated feature The Peasants written and directed by DK Welchman & Hugh Welchman and starring Kamila Urzedowska, Robert Gulaczyk and Mirosław Baka. The film’s original music is composed by Polish music producer/rapper/composer L.U.C. (aka Lukasz Rostkowski) and the Rebel Babel Film Orchestra. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last October.
