Dubois Records will release a new soundtrack album for the BBC drama Shetland. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fifth, sixth, seventh and eight season composed by Emmy Award winner John Lunn (Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom, The White Queen, Belgravia, The White Princess, Grantchester) and Danny Saul (The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 15. The streaming/download link will be added to this page soon. Silva Screen Records has previously released an album featuring Lunn’s music from the first seasons back in 2018. Shetland is based on Ann Cleeves’ novels and stars Ashley Jensen, Douglas Henshall,Alison O’Donnell, Lewis Howden, Steven Robertson, Anne Kidd, Stewart Porter, Erin Armstrong and Mark Bonnar. The drama’s eighth season just premiered in the UK over the last couple of weeks on BBC One and made its U.S. debut on BritBox.
