Danny Lux (Grey’s Anatomy, Manifest, Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, Halloween: Resurrection) is composing the original music for the new NBC drama The Irrational. The show is created by Arika Lisanne Mittman (La Brea, Timeless) inspired by Dan Ariely’s 2008 book Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions and stars Jesse L. Martin, Maahra Hill, Molly Kunz, Travina Springer and Arash DeMaxi. The series revolves around a world-renowned professor of behavioral science as he lends his unique expertise on an array of high-stakes cases involving governments, corporations and law enforcement. Mittman is also executive producing the Universal Television production with Mark Goffman (Bull, Sleepy Hollow), Samuel Baum (Lie to Me), as well as David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada, Marley & Me) who also directed the pilot episode. The Irrational will premiere this coming Monday, September 25 on NBC.
Lux also continues to score ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, which has been renewed for a 20th season and Station 19, which will return for a seventh season.
