Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, Frozen, WandaVision, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) is currently recording his score for the upcoming Netflix original film Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story. The movie is directed by Jerry Seinfeld and stars Seinfeld himself, Melissa McCarthy, Amy Schumer, Jim Gaffigan, Hugh Grant, James Marsden, Tom Lennon, Jack McBrayer, Bobby Moynihan, Adrian Martinez, Max Greenfield, Sarah Cooper and Christian Slater. The comedy is set in 1963 Michigan and tells the story of sworn cereal rivals Kellogg’s and Post as they race to create a pastry that will change the face of breakfast forever. Seinfeld also wrote the screenplay with Spike Feresten, Andy Robin & Barry Marder (Bee Movie) and is also producing the project with Feresten and Beau Bauman (The Umbrella Academy, Cry Wolf). Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story is currently in post-production. No release date has been announced yet.
Beck’s other recent feature projects include the Netflix animated film Nimona. He is also set to score Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
