Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1989 animated feature Asterix and the Big Fight (Astérix et le Coup du Menhir) directed by Philippe Grimond and produced by Yannick Piel. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by Michel Colombier (The Golden Child, The Money Pit, Against All Odds, Purple Rain), including previously unreleased music and alternate cues. The CD, which is limited to 500 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Asterix and the Big Fight is now available to purchase on Blu-ray/DVD and to stream on Freevee.

The label has also announced a 3-CD reissue of the (newly remastered) scores for the animated Lucky Luke movies Daisy Town (1971), The Ballad of the Daltons (La Ballade des Dalton) 1978) and the 1990 French TV series Lucky Luke composed by Claude Bolling.
