Vincenzo Lamagna (Akram Khan’s Giselle) has released a soundtrack album for the British dance film Creature. The album features the composer’s original music from the movie and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Creature is directed by Asif Kapadia (Amy, Maradona) and stars Jeffrey Cirio, Erina Takahashi and Stina Quagebeur. The drama based on the acclaimed English National Ballet production is set in a dilapidated former Arctic research station and follows the title character who is unknowingly enlisted by a military brigade into an experimental program and meets and falls in love a cleaner who shows him kindness and compassion. The movie premiered at last year’s BFI Film Festival and is being released in select UK theaters this weekend.
