Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, The OutsiderThe Staircase, The Gift, EnemyBoy Erased) have been tapped to score the upcoming Apple TV+ original series The Last Thing He Told Me. The show is developed by Laura Dave and Josh Singer (Spotlight, The Post) based on Dave’s best-selling novel of the same name and stars Jennifer Garner, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Angourie Rice, Augusto Aguilera, Aisha Tyler, Geoff Stults and John Harlan Kim. The 7-part thriller centers on a woman who forms an unexpected relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter while searching for the truth about why her husband has mysteriously disappeared. Dave & Singer are also executive producing the 20th Television production with Hello Sunshine’s Reese Witherspoon & Lauren Neustadter (Little Fires Everywhere, The Morning Show), Merri Howard, as well as Olivia Newman (Where the Crawdads Sing) who also directed the first episode. The Last Thing He Told Me will premiere on April 14, 2023 on Apple TV+.

Bensi & Jurriaans are also expected to return to score new seasons of HBO Max’s Tokyo Vice, Amazon’s Outer Range, Paramount+’s Tulsa King and AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead.
