Lumière Noire Records has released a soundtrack EP for the French adventure drama The Mountain (La montagne). The 6-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Chloé Thévenin (Arthur Rambo, A Decent Man). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. The Mountain is co-written and directed by Thomas Salvador and stars Salvador himself, Louise Bourgoin, Martine Chevallier, Andranic Manet, Laurent Poitrenaux and Sylvain Frendo. The movie follows a Parisian engineer who decides to leave his everyday life behind and set up a bivouac in the French Alps, where he discovers a shifting luminescence in the darkness and sets out to get to the bottom of the mysterious phenomenon. The drama premiered at last year’s Cannes Directors’ Fortnight and has just been released in French theaters earlier this month.
