Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Croods: A New Age, 21/22 Jump Street) is the composer of the new Apple TV+ original series Hello Tomorrow!. The show is created by Amit Bhalla & Lucas Jansen and stars Billy Crudup, Haneefah Wood, Alison Pill, Dewshane Williams, Nicholas Podany, Hank Azaria, Matthew Maher and Jacki Weaver. The dramedy is set in a retro-futuristic world and follows a charismatic salesman as he leads a team of fellow sales associates determined to revitalize their customers’ lives by hawking timeshares on the moon. Bhalla and Jansen are also executive producing the MRC Television production with Stephen Falk (You’re the Worst) and Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the F***ing World, I Am Not Okay with This), as well as Mortal Media’s Blake Griffin, Ryan Kalil and Noah Weinstein. Hello Tomorrow! will premiere next Friday, February 17 on Apple TV+.
Mothersbaugh is also expected to return to score the second season of HBO Max’s Our Flag Means Death. His recent feature projects include Elizabeth Banks’ Cocaine Bear (to be released in theaters on February 24) and the Netflix animated film The Magician’s Elephant (to premiere on March 17).
