Alpha Classics has released a soundtrack album for the French period thriller The Colors of Fire (Couleurs de l’incendie). The album features the film’s original music composed by Guillaume Roussel (3 Days to Kill, Black Beauty, Happy!, November, The Spy, The Man with the Iron Heart). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Colors of Fire is directed by Clovis Cornillac and stars Léa Drucker, Benoît Poelvoorde, Alice Isaaz, Cornillac himself, Olivier Gourmet, Jérémy Lopez, Johan Heldenbergh, Alban Lenoir and Fanny Ardant. The movie based on Pierre Lemaitre’s bestselling novel of the same title is set in 1920s Paris and tells the story of a woman who takes revenge after she misses out on inheriting the financial empire of her father after his death. The thriller is being released in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
