A24 Music will release the official soundtrack album for the drama The Inspection. The album features the original music from the film composed by the experimental pop band Animal Collective who made their narrative feature film scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A first track (Crucible) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The Inspection is written and directed by Elegance Bratton and stars Jeremy Pope, Raul Castillo, McCaul Lombardi, Bokeem Woodbine, Aaron Dominguez and Gabrielle Union. The movie follows a man who joins the Marine Corps after being thrown out of his mother’s home at 16 for being gay and living for years in housing precarity. The drama premiered at this year’s Toronto Film Festival and will be released in on November 18 in New York and Los Angeles by A24 before expanding nationwide on December 2.
