MovieScore Media’s Reality Bytes has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Brainwashed: Sex-Camera-Power. The album features the film’s original music composed by Sharon Farber (When Nietzsche Wept, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story, They Call Me Sirr). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Brainwashed: Sex-Camera-Power is directed by Nina Menkes and investigates the politics of cinematic shot design, and how this meta-level of filmmaking intersects with the twin epidemics of sexual assault/abuse and employment discrimination against women. The documentary premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is being released in select theaters today by Kino Lorber. Visit the official movie website for more information.
