Mark Isham (Crash, Once Upon a Time, Miracle, A River Runs Through It, Warrior, The Accountant, Judas and the Black Messiah) is the composer of the new Fox drama The Cleaning Lady. The show is created by Miranda Kwok based on the Argentine series La Chica Que Limpia and stars Élodie Yung, Adan Canto, Martha Millan, Oliver Hudson, Sebastien & Valentino LaSalle, Faith Bryant and Sean Le. The series revolves around a whip-smart Cambodian doctor who comes to the U.S. for medical treatment to save her ailing son, but instead becomes a cleaning lady for organized crime, using her cunning and intelligence to forge her own path in the criminal underworld. Kwok is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment production with showrunner Melissa Carter (Queen Sugar, Stargirl), actress Shay Mitchell (You, Pretty Little Liars), David Dean Portelli, Rose Marie Vega and Paola Suarez. The Cleaning Lady will premiere on January 3, 2022 and will air every Monday night on Fox.
Isham’s other upcoming projects include Mark Williams’ Blacklight starring Liam Neeson (to be released in theaters on February 11) and Tom Gormican’s The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent starring Nicolas Cage (to be released in theaters on April 22). He also continues to score HBO’s The Nevers.
