Filmax has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish drama Lemon and Poppy Seed Cake (Pan de Limón Con Semillas de Amapola). The album features the film’s original music composed by Joan Valent (Witching and Bitching, Compadres, As Luck Would Have It, My Big Night, Childish Games). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Lemon and Poppy Seed Cake is co-written and directed by Benito Zambrano and stars Elia Galera, Eva Martin, Tommy Schlesser, Marilu Marini, Claudia Faci and Pere Arquillue. The movie is set in a small town located on the island of Mallorca and follows two sisters who were separated when they were teenagers and meet again to sell a bakery they’ve inherited from a mysterious benefactor they know nothing about. The drama was released in Spanish theaters earlier this month.
