Carlos Rafael Rivera has won his second Emmy Award for his score for the episode End Game of the Netflix limited series The Queen’s Gambit in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series, Movie or a Special category at tonight’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony on the Event Deck at LA LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles.He was previously honored with his first Emmy for his main title music for Scott Frank’s Netflix series Godless. Ludwig Göransson was honored with his second Primetime Emmy Award for his score for the sixteenth chapter (The Rescue) of the Disney+ original series The Mandalorian in the Music Composition for a Series category. He previously won the award for his music for the first season in 2020.In the Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music category, Blake Neely received his first Emmy Award for the opening titles theme from the HBO Max series The Flight Attendant.

In the Outstanding Music Direction category, Bo Burnham was honored for the Netflix musical comedy special Bo Burnham: Inside. Ciara Elwis & Matt Biffa received the award in the Outstanding Music Supervision category for their work on the Showtime series I May Destroy You.
