Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, Money Monster, Monsters at Work, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween) has been hired to score the upcoming action thriller Bullet Train. The film is directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2, John Wick, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw) and stars Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Sandra Bullock, Logan Lerman, Andrew Koji, Brian Tyree Henry, Bad Bunny, Masi Oka, Michael Shannon, Hiroyuki Sanada and Karen Fukuhara. The movie is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by best-selling author Kotaro Isaka and follows five assassins who find themselves on a fast moving train in Japan and realize that their assignments have something in common. Zak Olkewitz wrote the screenplay. Leitch is also producing the project with Kelly McCormick (Atomic Blonde, Nobody) through 87North, alongside Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer) through Fuqua Films. “Have to pinch myself regularly that I get to work with David on this incredible movie,” Lewis said in a statement. Bullet Train is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 8, 2022 by Sony Pictures.
Also coming up for Lewis is Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man (co-scored with Matthew Margeson), which is set to be released theatrically on December 22, 2021. His other recent feature projects include Will Gluck’s Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, which is currently playing in theaters, as well as Tanya Wexler’s Jolt, which just premiered on Amazon Prime this past weekend.
