Notefornote Music will release a soundtrack album for the comedy drama Breaking News in Yuba County. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Rome, Monk, Pollock, Carnivale, The Biggest Little Farm, Appaloosa). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 26 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Breaking News in Yuba County is directed by Tate Taylor and stars Allison Janney, Mila Kunis, Regina Hall, Awkwafina, Ellen Barkin, Matthew Modine, Wanda Sykes, Clifton Collins Jr., Samira Wiley, Jimmi Simpson, Bridget Everett and Juliette Lewis. The movie follows an overlooked pencil-pusher who tries to keep secret the death of her husband who suffered a heart attack when she discovered him in bed with another woman and takes advantage of the growing celebrity status that comes from having a missing husband. The was released in select theaters and on VOD last week by MGM’s American International Pictures.
