La-La Land Records has announced the details of the new soundtrack album for the 1970 western Two Mules for Sister Sara directed by Don Siegel and starring Clint Eastwood and Shirley MacLaine. The album, which is being released as the ninth title of the label’s and Universal Pictures’s Film Music Heritage Collection, features the the film’s original music composed by Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, Cinema Paradiso, The Mission, The Hateful Eight). The 2-CD set features the the full film score (released for the first time), including material that went unused in the picture and 37 minutes of previously unreleased music on the first disc and a newly remastered version of the 1970 Kapp/MCA soundtrack album on the second disc.
