Also premiering on Wednesday is the Freeform original series Motherland: Fort Salem created by Eliot Laurence and starring Taylor Hickson, Ashley Nicole Williams, Lyne Renee and Jessica Sutton, Brandon Roberts (Underwater, The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, TURN: Washington’s Spies, The Twilight Zone, Little Evil) is composing the show’s original music. Premiering on Friday, March 20, is the comedy drama Blow the Man Down written and directed by Danielle Krudy & Bridget Savage Cole and starring Morgan Saylor, Sophie Lowe, Margo Martindale, June Squibb, Annette O’Toole and Marceline Hugot.. The film’s original music is composed by Brian McOmber (It Comes at NightKrisha, Little Woods) and Jordan Dykstra. A soundtrack album is in the works. Also premiering on Friday is the Netflix limited series Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker created by Nicole Jefferson Asher inspired by Walker’s great-great-granddaughter A’Lelia Bundles and starring Octavia Spencer, Tiffany Haddish, Carmen Ejogo, Blair Underwood, Garrett Morris, Kevin Carroll and Bill Bellamy. Also premiering on Friday is the Netflix original series The Letter for the King created by William Davies and starring Amir Wilson, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis and Thaddea Graham. The show’s original music is composed by Brandon Campbell (Slender Man, The Thinning). The coming-of-age adventure drama revolves around a young knight in training who contends with ancient prophecies, magical powers and fickle companions as he sets out on an epic quest to save his kingdom. The show’s full first season will be available on Friday exclusively on Netflix.

Another Netflix series premiering on Friday is the 6-part drama The English Game created by Julian Fellowes,  Tony Charles & Oliver Cotton and starring Edward Holcroft, Kevin Guthrie, Charlotte Hope, Craig Parkinson, James Harkness, Niamh Walsh, Gerard Kearns, Joncie Elmore, Sam Keeley, Daniel Ings and Kate Dickie.
