Composer Geoff Zanelli (Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Men Tell No Tales, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Disturbia, Christopher Robin) is reteaming with director Deon Taylor on the upcoming psychological thriller Fatale. The film starring Hilary Swank, Michael Ealy, Mike Colter and Tyrin Turner centers on a married man who finds himself living a nightmare as he is relentlessly compromised, out-witted and morally manipulated by a mysterious woman with whom he had a wild one-night stand. David Loughery (Lakeview Terrace, Obsessed) wrote the screenplay. Taylor is also producing the project with Roxanne Taylor. Zanelli has previously scored Taylor’s features Traffik, The Intruder and Black and Blue. Fatale is set to be released on October 9, 2020 by Lionsgate.
Zanelli has also recently scored Taylor’s upcoming horror comedy The House Next Door starring Mike Epps and Katt Williams. The sequel to 2016’s Meet the Blacks is expected to be released later this year. The composer’s other upcoming projects include David Koepp’s You Should Have Left starring Kevin Bacon.
