Blake Neely (The Flash, Arrow, You, Everwood, Supergirl, Riverdale) has composed the original score for the upcoming documentary Assassins. The film is directed by Ryan White and centers on the assassination of Kim Jong-nam, the half brother of the North Korean leader. The movie follows the trial of the two female assassins and probes the question whether the women were trained killers or innocent pawns of North Korea. White is also producing the Tripod Media production with Jessica Hargrave. Neely has previously scored White’s last two features Ask Dr. Ruth and The Case Against 8, his Netflix docu-series The Keepers, as well as the upcoming Apple TV+ series Visible: Out on Television. Assassins will premiere this weekend at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
Neely’s upcoming feature projects also includes the World War II drama Greyhound starring Tom Hanks (to be released in theaters on May 8).
