Alex Weston (The Farewell) has composed the original music for the upcoming drama Wander Darkly. The film is written and directed by Tara Miele and stars Sienna Miller, Diego Luna, Beth Grant, Aimee Carrero, Tory Kittles and Vanessa Bayer. The movie follows two new parents as they are forced to reckon with trauma amidst their troubled relationship and must revisit the memories of their past in order to face their uncertain future. Lynette Howell Taylor (A Star Is Born, The Accountant) & Samantha Housman (6 Balloons) are producing the project for 51 Entertainment, alongside ShivHans Pictures’ Shivani Rawat & Monica Levinson (Captain Fantastic, Trumbo). Fil Eisler was originally scoring the film. Wander Darkly will premiere next month at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
Weston whose score for this year’s The Farewell made the shortlist for this year’s Academy Awards also has the indie thriller What Breaks the Ice written and directed by Rebecca Eskreis and starring Sofia Hublitz and Madelyn Cline coming up.
