recordJet and Paradox Paradise Berlin have released a soundtrack album for the German drama System Crasher (Systemsprenger). The album features the film’s original music composed by John Gürtler (Above and Below, The Council of Birds). The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. System Crasher is written and directed by Nora Fingscheidt and stars Helena Zengel, Albrecht Schuch, Gabriela Maria Schmeide, Lisa Hagmeister and Melanie Straub. The movie, which is Germany’s entry for the International Feature Film category at next year’s Academy Awards, centers on a nine-year-old girl whose untamed energy in her wild quest for love drives everyone around her to despair. The drama premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and opened in Germany and other European markets this fall. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
