Marco Beltrami & Brandon Roberts have won their first Emmy Award in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series or Special category for their score for National Geographic’s Free Solo at tonight’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards. In the Music & Lyrics category, Rachel Bloom, Adam Schlesinger and Jack Dolgen received the prize for the original song Antidepressants Are So Not A Big Deal from the episode I Have To Get Out of The CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. In the Outstanding Music Direction category, Alex Lacamoire was honored for his work on the FX original series Fosse/Verdon. The other winners in the music categories of the Creative Awards Emmys will be announced tomorrow.
