Colin Stetson (Hereditary, The First, Outlaws and Angels) is scoring the Color Out of Space. The film is directed by Richard Stanley (Hardware, Dust Devil) and stars Nicolas Cage, Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur, Brendan Meyer, Julian Hilliard, Elliot Knight, Q’orianka Kilcher and Tommy Chong. The movie is based on H.P. Lovecraft’s classic horror short story about a meteor that falls to earth and lands on the property of a New England family with insidious, delirious, and psychedelic results. Stanley also co-wrote the screenplay with Scarlett Amaris. Daniel Noah, Josh Waller, Lisa Whalen& Elijah Wood (Mandy, Cooties) are producing the project for SpectreVision and ACE Pictures. Color Out of Space will premiere next month at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.
