Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the musical drama Song Sung Blue. The album features the Neil Diamond songs from the movie produced by the film’s executive music producer and composer Scott Bomar and performed by lead actors Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, December 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Sweet Caroline) is already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out below. Mutant will release the album on vinyl, CD and audio cassette (click here to order the CD version and click here to order the vinyl edition). Song Sung Blue is written and directed by Craig Brewer and also stars Michael Imperioli, Fisher Stevens, Jim Belushi, Ella Anderson, King Princess, Mustafa Shakir and Hudson Hilbert Hensley. The movie is based on a true story of two down-on-their-luck musicians who form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it’s never too late to find love and follow your dreams. The drama premiered at this year’s AFI Fest and will be released in theaters nationwide on December 25, 2025 by Focus Features.
