Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Revenge, Horns, Troy: Fall of a City) is the composer of the upcoming French TV series Savages (Les Sauvages). The show is directed by Rebecca Zlotowski and stars Roschdy Zem, Dali Benssalah, Souheila Yacoub, Marina Foïs, Amira Casar, Romain Levi, Lyna Khoudri and Sofiane Zermani. The drama is based on the novels of the same title by Sabri Louatah and is being described as a family saga set against a backdrop of politics and social tensions in contemporary France. Louatah & Zlotowski also wrote the scripts with Benjamin Charbit & David Elkaïm. Marco Cherqui & Joey Faré are producing the project. Rob has previously collaborated with Zlotowski on the features Dear Prudence, Grand Central and Planetarium. Savages is expected to premiere in France on Canal Plus laster this year.
Rob’s other recent projects include the sci-fi drama Cities of Last Things, which will make its U.S. debut on July 11, 2019 on Netflix. The composer also has the French thriller Trois jours et une vie directed by Nicolas Boukhrief and starring Sandrine Bonnaire & Charles Berling coming up. The movie is set to be released in French theaters this September.
