Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, I’ll See You in My Dreams, The Hero, Gemini) is the composer of the new Netflix original series Trinkets. The show is developed by Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith (Legally Blonde, 10 Things I Hate About You), Amy Andelson & Emily Meyer (Step Up 3D) based on Smith’s YA novel of the same title and stars Brianna Hildebrand, Kiana Madeira, Quintessa Swindell. The drama follows a grieving teen who finds an unexpected connection with two classmates at her new high school after they all land in the same Shoplifters Anonymous group. Anderson, Meyer & Smith are also executive producing the Awesomeness production with showrunner Linda Gase (Switched at Birth), Shelley Zimmerman & Brin Lukens (PEN15) and Rebecca Glashow. Trinkets will premiere this coming Friday, June 14 exclusively on Netflix.
Also coming up for DeWitt are the features All the Bright Places, Little Fish and Broken Diamonds, as well as new seasons of HBO’s Divorce and Facebook Watch’s Sorry for Your Loss.
