Bobby Krlic (aka The Haxan Cloak) has composed the original score for the upcoming horror movie Midsommar. The film is written and directed by Ari Aster (Hereditary) and stars Florence Pugh, Jack Reynor, William Jackson Harper, Vilhelm Blomgran, Archie Madekwe, Ellora Torchia and Will Poulter. The movie follows a young American couple with a relationship on the brink of falling apart who go a trip to a once-in-a-lifetime midsummer festival in a remote Swedish village. Lars Knudsen (The Witch, American Honey) and Patrik Andersoon (Euphoria) are producing the project. Midsommar is set to be released in theaters nationwide on July 3, 2019 by A24.
Krlic whose previous scoring credits include John Hillcoat’s Triple 9, Netflix’s Seven Seconds and USA’s Shooter has also recently scored NBC’s The Enemy Within, which just finished its first season run last night.
