Junkie XL (aka Tom Holkenborg) is reteaming with director Tim Miller on Terminator: Dark Fate. The movie, which marks the sixth part in the series and is a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day, stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes and Diego Boneta. David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight, Blade) wrote the screenplay. James Cameron (Titanic, Avatar) who helmed the first two parts in the series (scored by Brad Fiedel) is producing the project with Skydance Media’s David Ellison & Dana Goldberg (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation). The other three installments in the series were scored by Marco Beltrami (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines), Danny Elfman (Terminator: Salvation) and Lorne Balfe (Terminator Genisys). Holkenborg has previously collaborated with Miller on 2016’s original Deadpool movie and is also scoring the upcoming Miller-produced Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Terminator: Dark Fate is set to be released on November 1, 2019 by Paramount Pictures.
